Finally: math that truly matters

Stop learning formulas you’ll never use.
Solve real problems, understand the why, and see math come alive.

Is math really necessary?

“ I am going to be an artist / musician / doctor / police officer / a parent of many happy kids — will I actually need math? ”Experience says: yes. Everyone needs math on some level.
That’s why before the course starts, we schedule a short meeting to get to know the student and understand their interests. This helps us focus on what actually matters to them — and avoid wasting time on unnecessary material.

Will I actually be able to apply this math?

“ I’ve studied math at school for years — but I’ve never used it for anything real. So what will be different now? ”Almost all the necessary math is already taught at school. The thing is that you were rarely taught to apply it in realitty. Thus instead of replacing the school program, we carefully build practical layers on top of it — step by step. We show how familiar ideas turn into real tools for solving real problems.

Is advanced math background needed?

“ I have never studied math at an advanced level. Am I capable of taking this course? ”Yes. Our course is built for both cases. We teach genuinely advanced topics for those who want to go deeper, and at the same time we build a solid, practical foundation for those who don’t need math as a professional tool. We start from what the student already knows and move forward step by step, without gaps or overload, so everyone progresses at a pace that actually works for them.

Will I study alone or in a group?

We believe that alongside knowledge, every student should also make friends and develop teamwork skills, and that the learning process itself should be enjoyable! That’s why we strive to group students according to their interests and needs, and conduct lessons in a relaxed, non-academic atmosphere. However, if you prefer to study individually, we can adapt to meet that need!

Can't wait to join? Here's how!

1. Leave your contacts

First, please fill out a short Google form — just your name and phone number and we’ll get in touch with you soon to schedule a short online meeting to get to know the student.

2. The first meeting

During the first meeting, we’ll get to know each other, talk about student's interests, their past experience with math, and their current level. We’ll also go through all the practical details — how the learning process is organized, the schedule, and payment — and answer any questions. And it won't be just a formal chat: even in this first lesson, the student will already discover something new, useful, and genuinely interesting about math!

3. Get started!

If everything feels like a good fit, we’ll agree on a schedule that works for you, take care of the payment, and then start the classes.

Find out what our students say about us:

" Math used to be a complete nightmare for me...

... I was always confused by percentages, proportions, and didn’t really understand why any of it mattered. At the Mathematicats school, for the first time, I was shown how math actually works in real life: how to calculate discounts, understand prices, loans, and now we even study advanced financial operations! "

— Paulina, 15 years old

“ I worked as a manager and decided to transition into IT...

... but very quickly I realized that I couldn’t move forward without mathematics. My starting level was almost zero — I had forgotten most of what I learned at school. Mathematicats helped me understand fairly complex mathematical abstractionsHere, I was helped to build understanding from the ground up: logic, functions, and algorithmic thinking. ”

— Georgii, 32 years old

“ I don’t want to jinx it, but seems like he actially liked it! ”

“ Every year I tried to enroll my son in some kind of non-school mathematics program, hoping he would finally get interested — without much success. This time was different. For the first time, he actually enjoyed the class and is genuinely looking forward to the next lesson. I’m almost afraid to say it out loud, but it seems like he really liked it — and that has never happened before!
Thank you once again. We are already looking forward to the next session! ”

— Mom of 17-year-old Yehor

“ I was afraid it would be just theory — it turned out to be exactly what I needed. ”

“ I serve in the Electronic Warfare of Ukraine. Due to the specifics of my work, I needed to gain deeper knowledge of mathematics, and I received that support at Mathematicats.I’m satisfied with the results of our cooperation — in nearly three months we moved from half-forgotten school-level math to advanced higher mathematics topics: Fourier and Laplace transforms, digital and analog signal processing, etc.I was concerned that I might waste time and money, and that I would get nothing but abstract theory without practical application. Instead, my teacher, Ruslan, showed genuine interest in my needs and even took the time to understand how our equipment works in order to make the learning process more grounded, relevant, and directly applicable to my tasks. Many thanks for a high-quality service delivered by a true professional.”

Please fill out the Google Form, and we’ll get in touch with you soon. We’ll schedule our first meeting, where we can get to know each other, learn more about the student’s interests and current level, and talk about what they enjoy and what they find challenging. We’ll also explain how our classes work, what our approach is, and happily answer any questions you may have. This first conversation helps us understand how to make learning both effective and enjoyable.

And remember — learn not only math, but also how to solve problems and the fact that there are no unsolvable problems.
